King of the Ring (Road!)

June saw Idola teaming up with VR Motorsport, Rowe Oils and Grant Williams Racing to take pride of place at Coventry Moto-Fest. This was the 10th anniversary of Moto-Fest, where the whole of Coventry city centre becomes a motoring mecca, with over 250,000 people attending the free event, consisting of car displays, concours, demonstration runs, and the only road based sprint event in the country. Yes they turned part of the Coventry ring road into a sprint track - and we ran the Praga alongside a whole host of machinery, including 3 Historic Jaguars from the Grant Williams racing stable.

We were set up alongside the Rowe Oils stand, representing fully sustainable products for road and track.

We met so many enthusiasts who were great to talk to and show the cars to, lots of kids (and some adults) got to sit in the cars and much fun was had by all.

Weather was fantastic, the crowds were huge and this was a hugely fun event. we came away with a 2nd on the Saturday and a 1st with fastest time of day on the Sunday.
